A Call for Help – Guest Posts for Deluscar
There’s no denying I’ve been slowing down. I’m… uhh… getting a little bit on in years. And as I age, I find it’s harder and harder to get into the right mood to write. A long time ago, you can see a new post every few days or so, but nowadays you would be hard-pressed to even see a new post per month.

And even if I want to be more active, I’m physically and mentally drained. At some point, I had to admit — I was burned out, and the myriad of real life issues don’t help either. Despite that though, my slowed-down monthly update has been wonderful for me, and I feel more refreshed with extended breaks. It also helps a lot since now I actually have more time to work on future stuffs (like preparing my 12 Days of Anime for example).
But believe me, to all of my most dedicated followers, I’m just as sad as you seeing this blog slowly but surely turning into a deadman wonderland. Furthermore my ideas are running thin too, and indeed, this is the one time I truly might need some help.
If there’s anyone out there who is willing to partake on this quest and become a guest writer for my blog, I will be very happy! To be frank, I’m not sure if anyone’s even interested. The last time I tried to gauge some interests, I was met with a most cold, indifferent response; stone-cold eyes that looked at me like trash. But at this point, I’m willing to officially put this up here, sink or swim.
What happened last time when I gauged for some interests.
Although I feel bad for saying this too despite the fact that I’m asking for help, but I do have certain type of posts I prefer if you do guest write. Some notes:
1. I prefer editorials/commentaries/unique posts.
2. No “routine posts” (reviews/impressions/news, etc…)
3. Anime content only, or other things anime-related pertaining to the Japanese visual culture.
4. Please reply to the comments in your posts to the best of your ability.
If you’re not sure the topic fits, please send me a draft, ideas or just tell me what kind of topic you plan to write first. If I give the ok, then we can go on from there. Again, I apologize, but I do have a certain thematic direction I want my blog to maintain. Lastly, this will be my first time doing this, so please forgive me if it feels a bit experimental (I’m foreseeing a lot of trial-and-error, actually).

Anyway, that’s about it. I’ve been blogging for more than 6 years by now (This year will be my 7th if I can last). Deluscar’s been my blood, sweat and tears and I will be sad to see it go. If there’s a kind, brave warrior out there who’s willing to join me on my fight to keep this sorry ass blog alive, feel free to contact me :)
